Both types contain a single, high-sensitivity DVB-t tuner capable of receiving Freeview in the UK, or similar systems broadcast around the world (with the exception of the USA).
They both ship with an ergonomic high-quality remote control and the most recent version of Nebula Media's award-winning DigiTV eHub v4 home entertainment software
Additionally, the PCI card contains an RCA analogue video input for PAL video capture. Using the DigiTV software, video (for example from a security camera) can be captured and encoded to MPEG2 format before being stored to disk. A time-lapse feature is also available.
DigiTV hardware and software is available exclusively from Nebula Media Solutions Ltd.
From late 2011, this range will be extended with the inclusion of multiple-tuner USB and PCIe (PCI express) models, and later tuners capable of Freeview-HD (DVB-t2 high definition) reception will arrive.
2011-12 will also see the range extended further to include the Freesat and Freesat-HD domains with multiple-tuner DVB-s2 PC-based tuners.
