skyTalker

SkyTalker is an add-on box that has been designed for Sky by Nebula Media Solutions for visually impaired users to make operating your Sky system easier and more pleasurable.
 
  The unit connects both to your existing Sky or Sky+ box and your TV and will talk you through channel and programme information directly through your TV's speaker using its built-in synthetic voice. It will vocalise the search and scan banner, programme synopsis information and Sky+ functionality such as play, pause and rewind - making navigation easier and quicker for blind and partially sighted users.

You can set the unit up to speak using one of 9 different male and female voices, at a speed and volume that suits you. If you prefer not to have the voice come though the TV, an amplified speaker can be connected to the rear of the unit.

SkyTalker is available exclusively from Sky.
